Fatal Accident On I-30 Stops Traffic For Hours
A fatal accident this morning leaves I-30 westbound backed up for hours. As of 09:30 traffic is back up and flowing. Texas Department of Public Safety Sergeant Kyle Bradford has confirmed one fatality with this accident.
Troopers were called out to reports of 2 semi trucks wrecking. There were 2 other wrecks reported during the backup.
Sadly the driver of the Ford Fiesta, identified as Perry Preas, 60 of Sulphur Springs, died in the crash. The driver of the initial truck tractor was transported with non-life threatening injuries to the Hunt Regional Medical Center in Greenville.
“Everybody else walked away from the accident,” Bradford said.
